Solana Policy Institute’s Summit in New York City
HarrisX Chief Commercial Officer, Alex Chizhik, joined a panel at the Solana Policy Institute’s Summit in New York City where he presented fresh HarrisX data on the political and perceptual landscape every crypto leader — and every 2026 campaign — should be watching.
The headline: crypto has a marketing problem the industry isn't taking seriously, even as Americans hold deeply contradictory views that are ripe for reframing (59% call crypto "financially irresponsible" while 56% simultaneously call it "forward-looking and innovative").
On the 2026 Senate picture, HarrisX and Harvard CAPS / Harris Poll data cuts sharply against the external generic-ballot narrative — the House will likely flip, but the Senate is a knife fight inside the margin of error, not a Democratic wave. And the number that should matter most to every campaign: 40% of all voters — and 66% of crypto voters — would switch parties for a candidate with a proactive, robust crypto stance.
“We tested that figure a dozen ways and it held,” said Chizhik. “In a cycle with roughly $193M sitting in Fairshake and a handful of Senate races already inside the margin of error, Crypto is one of the most efficient cross-pressure targeting signals in the electorate.”
